It feels like the year can finally get under way, I have never been a fan of January & February too much spring cleaning & gloomy weather. By April my families birthdays are all over with for the year (we have a cluster of Spring babies for a solid 2 weeks). Then by May I start getting back to work, trade shows start to cluster in and everyone wakes up to get work ready for summer. This makes me a little busier but nothing is more soothing for my week than a Crafty Fox Market. All my favourite clients & characters either started or still trade with Crafty Fox.
Sinead does a great job bringing together those with the best crafty talent and creating a wonderful community ethic. The guest curator was Lisa Comfort from Sew over It and an East London local. When you attend a fair the room is always buzzing; music, conversation & shopping of course! With a new face to the mix – Kayti is the shiny Marketing Manager bringing a fresh breath of Yorkshire air to the market.
Saturday’s Market was in the Oval Space an award worthy event space next to the iconic Bethnal Green gasholders. 5000 square feet of statement space, plenty of room for 70+ traders and their technicoloured collection of stalls. I spent way to much time chatting but here a few snaps: some veteran traders and lots of new faces joining the Crafty family for 2017.
